“I am an extremely motivated trainer and love my job.
As a youngster I battled my weight and can empathize with anyone   in the same position. I am a keen runner and often compete in 10ks and half marathon events around Wales (My best 10k time is 38.42 and half marathon 1hr.24). My lifelong passion for exercise has made me feel great and thus and inspired me to help others.

I love to meet new people and work with them to achieve their health and fitness goals. I also love to motivate my clients and make it my duty to encourage and better them.

I take pride in the fact that I have helped people with serious substance, alcohol, depression, anxiety or weight issues increase self esteem through a fitness regime and rise above previous problems to improve their life.

My favourite phrase I use with clients is “Consistency, consistency, consistency” – By this I mean consistency with your training, consistency with a healthy eating plan and consistency with your rest and recovery. With consistency you WILL achieve your goals.

I’m very serious about client’s results and demand that they give as much to the ‘healthy eating plan’ initially set out, as I give to them in the gym, as without this commitment, progress will be hindered.

In the past I have turned away clients and potential clients (hence income) as I believed that they have not been serious or dedicated enough to achieve their goals –  Simply booking a personal trainer is not enough – You have to really WANT to achieve your goals. You will often here me say to clients “Don’t make me want this more than you”.

I also don’t aim to be a ‘cool’ personal trainer for the sake of trying to wow a client. By this I mean I wont have you doing the latest ‘new exercise’ from this months Men’s Health because its ‘different’. I tell clients that Im not here to ‘impress’, Im here to get you fit and functional, therefore we will concentrate on the fundamental aspects of training and make sure that the basics are ALWAYS right before moving on.

I’d like to think of myself as a people’s person, approachable and helpful and willing to go that little bit further for all of my clients but I expect 110% commitment and effort in return.
