5 years ago I was 16 stone and very unhappy, yet I was training even harder than I train today!!

Today I am a comfortable and lean 12 stone 4lbs and full of life and energy, training less than I did before!! In fact I have so much energy I spring out of bed every morning and think 'BRING IT ON!'
Through my studies and application I have learnt WHAT works and WHAT doesn't work when it comes to SUSTAINBALE fat loss and it’s actually easier than you think. DIET'S DO NOT WORK, HEALTHY EATING DOES! ZERO CARBOHYDRATE DOES NOT WORK, CONTROLLED CARBOHYDRATE DOES! LONG SLOW BORING CARDIO DOES NOT WORK, SHORT SHARP CARDIO WITH FREQUENT REST PERIODS DOES! The list goes on and on........Are you ready to learn more??

Throughout our time together I will train you not only physically but mentally, helping you to overcome any barriers to exercise you have and show you how to totally embrace fitness. One of the benefits of having a personal trainer is that you make a commitment to training. Because our sessions are pre booked there is no “getting out of” sessions or poor excuses to be made. You make a commitment not only to me but to yourself and this is a two way thing”.

With F&M personal training we will help you to stay focused through a number of ways….

We may ask you to keep a training diary to monitor what you did or did not do and how you felt by doing or not doing it. Through this we can assess any good or bad patterns that may creep in and help you to correct them.

We may ask you to remember the point in your life when you were at your most comfortable and happiest with your body, and how you felt at that time. Do you have any old photographs of this time that you could pin up on the cupboard to stop you going for those chocolate biscuits?

From our initial consultation we will have established both your short and long term goals, and these goals will help to motivate you from the off. Working towards shedding a few pounds before a certain date or being able to do that extra mile in 3 sessions time will give you something to constantly strive for in working towards your ultimate goal.

During our sessions whether it be an outdoor interval run or a session in the gym we will constantly reinforce the benefits of what we are doing and why we are doing it, and push you to achieve better results each time. Before you know it you won’t need us going on at you as this information will be firmly logged in your mind.

We will also be at the other end of the phone should you need advice or perhaps a gentle ‘kick up the backside’ on the days we are not training together.
